The X101 from MJX R/C is their flagship model for 2015. This quadcopter is simply the best available anywhere close to this price. It is the same relative size as units costing thousands of dollars more. The plastic fuselage has a durable and quality feel that distances this model from quadcopter 'toys' at lower price ranges. The X101 also has a distinct and unique look with recessed LED 'eyes' and traditional red and blue position coloring. With bright position LEDs this Quad will stand out from a scenic backdrop in glaring daylight or a pitch black night.

Underneath the main fuselage there is a large battery housing for the massive 1200mAh 2S 7.4V LiPo battery. This battery provides a significant amount of power for aerial acrobatics and sufficient storage for a consistent 10 minute flight time wile recording video. For rapid recharge and to charge two batteries at the same time, use our Venom Charger.

The battery is hung underneath the Drone with silicon vibration dampeners to add additional weight for the included HD First Person View (FPV) Camera. These stabilizers reduce the micro vibrations that are inherent with Drone operation and unavoidable in smaller less powerful models. This passive vibration isolation means a significant increase in overall video quality.

The included camera is not a typical budget 720p camera and has a much costlier feel and look than other models. With the free-to-download Android or iPhone app, it will stream 720p video in a surprisingly smooth and delay (lag) free quality. With the app your video or photos can be stored directly onto your phone for sharing on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Youtube, etc.) while simultaneously being stored on-board the camera with the included micro SD Card.

Blown Away
This drone is absolutely amazing. I have been shopping around for awhile and it seems you have to pay $1000 for a drone with all the features that I want. I originally wanted a drone with GPS and honestly I still do but shopping around I noticed they are very expensive and cost 3-4x what I paid for this. I am a beginner and have flown a little micro drone and am pretty good at it and was ready for the next step but felt a thousand dollars was more of a leap than a step and I cringe to think about crashing one. So I saw this drone and noticed it had everything I need and most of the things I want.

Larger size, about the same size as a DJI Phantom; First Person View(FPV), I can stream to my iPhone the quality is actually very good; Records video, I can record directly to my iPhone (i think it works with Android too) it also saves to a Micro SD card; Durable, I have crashed many times and only damaged a few blades; Stable flight, after you get this think trimmed you would think it has GPS it is very stable; Stylish, when I bring it out to show friends, I wanted it to look like it cost more than what I paid, mission accomplished; Swappable batteries, always have a spare because no matter how much money you spend, drones only fly about 10 mins; Replacement parts, Ingenious Ingenuity has some and I spoke to a rep that they intend to add more as customers ask for them; Good customer support, you can buy drones all over the internet but these guys are always available for my noob questions and have never given me the run around and best part, they are a US company which is very hard to find in the drone world.

The bad. Not much but there are a few; The battery takes FOREVER to charge or at least it seems. I see they have a quick charger, I think I will give that a try; I wish there was a better low battery indicator. The lights under the drone do flash but there should be something on the transmitter or iPhone to indicate battery level for the Drone; Assembly, not difficult but does take a little skill. If you can build with Legos and can turn a screw driver, you should be fine.. A getting started video would be great...Hint. Hint

All said, this was a great purchase and I am very happy. Looking back, I would easily spend $300 so anything less than $250 is a steal. You will not be disappointed. From all of my time and effort researching this, you just cannot find a better option.
